frank1331
I don't know why I never noticed this before, but what ever happened to the ortho constraints that used to be in Max. I may be overlooking them, but wasn't there a way to lock lines and other objects to move only in the x and y direction, similar to autocad?? Victor Erthal
use the following keys: f5 - x f6 - y f7 - z f8 - toggles between planes. xy, yz, xz Also, if you prefer, use the interactive move/rotate/scale gizmo. activate/deactivate it with the x kwy. ajvbochove
When you draw splines you can use SHIFT for ortho constraints, or use CTRL for the angle specified in the angle snap settings. When you use the Keyboard Entry you can type R for Relative Coordinates.
mrucereto
1.) Go to Customize|Customize User Interface 2.) select the Toolbars tab. 3.) Change the drop down menu on the right to "Axis Constraints" then 4.) uncheck the "Hide" Checkbox directly below. This will unhide a floater with the XYZ button contraints that you recall from the previous versions.
