Vray Scene converter error

Hi there. We just upgraded to viz2008 and I'm having a problem with the vray scene converter I thought some of you may have some insight on. Every time I run the vray scene converter (to get some pretty dense multi materials to update) I'm getting the following message and the scene converter script is not able to finish.

 

 

Anyone else with this problem? Any solutions? appreciate the time.

It seems to happen whenever I have any standard or architectural materials in my material editor at all. Even when I haven't even modeled anything in the project yet.

 

However, here's a screen shot of the multi-material I'm trying to convert and really don't want to go through indivdually changing everything for dozens of different tree types.
