Claudio Branch
I read a post recently by a CGA member discussing the use of music in their animation work. This person mentioned that they established their soundtrack prior to creating the animation (I cannot find the original post). I have never tried this, but I would like to experiment with it. It brings up a lot of questions... Is this type of approach used primarily in marketing pieces or is it applicable to all types of client presentations? What is the thought-process involved in establishing the relationship between the style of the music, the style of the visual content and the intended audience? Where could I find some examples of CG work that incorporate this approach?
