LynnChamber
Hey all. I'm currenting working as a 3d animator. My school training has been in Maya, my specialty is lighting and rendering. I'm tinkering with the idea of getting into architectural visualization. How diffcult would it be for me to learn Autocad and get work. Is it worth it for me try?Advice would be much appreciated. Claudio Branch
How diffcult would it be for me to learn Autocad and get work. Have you built your portfolio? How about your professional relationships? AutoCAD is not at all difficult to learn. It is a very straightforward application. It can be a tremendous time-saver on modeling tasks when used strategically. Learning how to use it in tandem with Max is the real challenge. Getting work is really a culmination of several learned skills and inherent personal traits. It is a given that you must have a strong portfolio that showcases your modeling, lighting and texturing artistry. But you must also have excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, patience, persistence, personality, and a sincere desire to build relationships. So, should you go for the CG All-Nighter, 3D Render-Tweeking Lifestyle? Can you live with yourself if you dont? I couldn't.
