Smooth edges

i have a cube and the edges on it do not look smooth

 

is there a way for me to make the edges smooth so they dont look jaggedy? if so can some tell me how

IS that a rendering or a modelling issue?

if it's for the mesh use chamfer, if its for the render use AA

Use chamfer box or u can buy POWER SOLIDs.....

I am actually a beginner using this software and i dont know anything you guys just said...im attaching a picture and its a cube...the edges on the cube dont look smooth.

i can barely see it on my monitor, but check to see if you have interlace turned on. if you do, turn it off.

i dont want rounded edges i just want it to look smooth so that its looks like its a straight line instead of any jaggedy edges so that it looks smooth like the cube itself
