Conor Clancy
Modelling wise it's looking pretty good. The lighting and materials need some serious work. Pretty good for the first time though.

Jeez what an attitude. So you can't come on and ask for help until you don't really need help? Don't be put off posting, sima-b. Do you have access to lighting tutorials? Frosty
I'd highly suggest you start with lighting and no textures first. Start with a basic scanline render engine and learn the basics of setting lighting rigs for scenes. The colors and intensities of light sources are incredibly important. When you understand this amount of material. Move on to textures both image maps and procedurals. When you've got your head around all of that, move on to an advanced render engine like VRay, MR, Final Render etc. If you jump straight into an advanced render engine, there is no way you're going to know enough about the basics to move forward. Also study photography and traditional architectural illustration.
