P.R.S. Sivakumar .
Hello everybody I have attached two sample images from the web. How to show the exterior scene (not modelling but with images) through the window or glazing in interior renderings somewhat like in the attached images. Can somebody explain or give links to thisor some tutorial. This must be a very common thing in visualisation but somehow I have not done this so far. Thanks in advance PRSS
jorisAR
Simply put a background image in your background....environment. press '8' then you get environment panel and then choose a bitmap. To see the image in your viewport 'alt+b' and choose the same picture as in your environment panel, pick 'instance', comes inhandy when you make changes to your background. Don't if that's what your looking for, that's way I was taught. greetz
P.R.S. Sivakumar .
Thanks jorisAR, is it really as simple as that? I thought some complex masking, alpha images etc.were involved. With best regards PRSS
jorisAR
It's a simple way of doing it I think...sometimes it's a bit tricky to let the image match the perspective....perhaps there are other ways of doing it more accurately. But that's how I do is...but I don't use very complex images, so that I don't have (much) difficulties of matching the image with the background. greetz
