Zeilveen
Hi guys, any help is welcome, this is a very simple setup and im trying to get the LWF to work correctly so I can start using it in production work. Im just not very much confident that it might be a good thing. Scene is done with one Vray sun and sky and physical cam, I just changed the shutter speed as the only variable to match my LWF base material, than I started playing with some colours and furniture. Render settings are IR map with Light Cache just low settings, tried using very fine noise, rest pretty much standard. Please any C&C are very welcome, Thanks Ronald
Stephen Thomas
Hi Ronald, Seems very uncontrasted at the moment. Could you post some more info on your max gamma settings, colour mapping etc?
Zeilveen
Thanks for your reaction Stephen, I've posted my relevant render settings, the rest is mainly standard setting, even for camera and light, all mostly standard. Im trying to get some sort of basic light setup that could work without major post production work. I agree that the render looks "bleek" and requires more contrast, I could use a different colour mapping, but your advice is more than welcome! Zeilveen
Ok, here is some more photoshop tweaking with a nice s-curve to the image. Its looking better, but I was hoping to get this done in 3dsmax. Im using 3dsmax 9 - vray 1.5 (no sp1 for this pc, other pc is rendering)
