conjeo
Hello, Here is my latest interior that I am working on. This is just a render and not fixed or touched up in photoshop. I rendered it with mental ray, mr sun and IES sky on cloudy. Logamarithic exposure control is on and settings are brightness = 55, contrast = 70, and mid tones = 1.5. As for the mental ray. Draft setting, 4 light bounces, pixel samples are 1-16 and mitchell. Any suggestions as to what settings would work better or what the scene is lacking. I don't think I am a very good interior designer so I never have very good stuff in my scene I don't think. Look forward to anything you have to say. -Reed
Aaron2004
The lighting is really good in pic #1. It may be too dark in the back, though...but that could just be me. The flower pot needs to be smoothed. The curtains in pic #2 are noticeably jagged. And the railing in the foreground looks like it was drawn in with illustrator or something...it doesn't match the realism that you are trying for. The thing in the bottom right foreground of pic #3 is catching my eye and I can't tell what it is.
conjeo
Thank you Aaron. The railing is the standard max railing so I will improve that for sure. I will also smooth the pot and curtains.
