Bwana Kahawa
Hi, I'm trying to find a way of applying an adjustment layer to whatever happens to be visible in a layer set. I have around 250 layers in a set, which will be turned on one by one, to save out as stills for an animation. I want to be able to place an adjustment layer to remove the colour from each layer as it's turned on, without affecting anything else on the canvas. I can't use a clipping mask, as I'd have to reapply it to each layer individually, and with several sets of 250 frames, it'd take too long. Simply placing an adjustment layer at the top of the set doesn't work as it affects the whole canvas, rather than just the contents of the set. Any ideas?! Tay othman
Well I'm Just Testing Possibilities But the Easiest Way is to Convert the Layerset to A Smart Object Right Click on Layer set + Convert to a Smart Object Then Apply your Adjusment Layer to the smart object as a clipping mask I hope this will resolve your issue
Bwana Kahawa
Unfortunately I'm using CS1 - no Smart Objects... Any other suggestions?!
Bwana Kahawa
Just discovered the solution in another forum. In case anyone's interested, the way to do it is to place the adjustment layer as the top layer in the set, then change the set's blending mode from Pass Through to Normal.
