Ze'ev
Hello all I have a mirror that is a standard material with a 100% raytrace for the reflection. I get a strange reflection in the mirror, check the lower left corner, that black area that the girl is standing on. http://www.cgarchitect.com/forum/filepush.asp?file=ml-power-center-test-010154.jpg Because its an image from an animation I cant just Photoshop it. I'm using Viz 3 Any ideas?
Victor Erthal
Hi, That could possibly be a problem with the shadow of the real people that you are using. Try disbling the shaddow.
Ze'ev
Victor Thanks It wasn’t the RPC shadow I had the same black spot even without the girl. After spending 3 more hours I have the solution. The wooden floor is a line that was extruded to 0.0, the Raytrace didn’t like that. When I changed the extrude to 0.1 the black spot in the mirror didn’t show up
