I didn't download the BOOKS, rather the data files associated with both books.

The two sentences "...and lots of files to download. (note: I've downloaded books 1 & 2..." probably blurred together in my excited state.

Had a brief read last night, and it's a very good book. I've e-mailed all of the 3D Max users in my address book and encouraged them to get it.

Cool, I just wanted to make sure. Brian specifically did not release a digital version of the last two books as the first one was pirated, so I wanted to be sure either the printer did not leak it or someone photocopied it.

I also got mine last week. What a great book. This is exactly what i needed to take me to the next level of modeling. Definitely worth the money you wont find a better book out anywhere on arch modeling. Has anyone else bought the book ?

3ds Max 2009 Architectural Visualization

I GOT IT!!!!

It actually arrived yesterday, which is less than a week to travel 12,000 miles!

It was very well wrapped (just like the first book), the paper feels good to the touch, and the text is clear, clean & easy to read. Plenty of illustrations, and lots of files to download. (note: I've downloaded books 1 & 2, and burned a CD and stuck it inside the book, in case I ever am someplace without an internet connection).

Well done, Sir!

I intend to spend quite a few hours with Chapter 3! :)

I got my copy last week, not read it all yet. But from what ive seen there is some cracking information in there!

Some of the chapters on Marketing, Business plans and Pricing are really interesting. The 'top 20 free resources' section is top draw as well.

Thanks for a great book.

Well I guess I need to contact Vismasters and see where mine is at

Hmmm....I had my own internal list of students that were supposed to get it and received a list from VisMasters for those that received the free book offer last year, and you aren't on either list. Please email VisMasters and send them your information...such as your email receipt...so they can verify which class you were in. Unfortunately, if it was verified right now, I can't send you a book until the bulk of the books arrives. I actually have only 2 books in my possession right now because there were a limited number of advance orders taken because they cost $12 extra each to get by 2-day air rather than the slow 5-week boat from China. The bulk shipment should arrive in a couple weeks.

Hey All,

Well I just got a copy of 3DS Max 2009 Architectural Visualization Intermediate to Advanced book and I have to say that I haven't put it down.

Such a wealth of information:eek:. . .I'd suggest this book to anyone that wants to learn how the pros squeeze every bit of speed and efficiency out of the tools and techniques required for this field of expertise.

Thanks to Brian and all the other authors for a great book.
