chow choppe
sorry if its too simple but i am not a specialist in animation i am rendering an animation in 3dsmax and vray. I am using 2d images for trees with alpha channels. Now i want my planes(for trees) to always face my camera so that they look same from every angle. How can i do it. I am a novice so wud like to know in detail thanks

Ricardo Eloy
You can simply use he Look At constraint (Animation > Constraints > Look At). It's simple and will do exactly what you want.

only3d
my offer is to use the plugin above very comfortable with many more handy utilities. plus it has a 2-plannar option which is better than the "rotating tree" utility cuz sometimes it looks funny the way the trees follow u around. its good to knoe as many plugins as possible anyways in my opinion. mostly they are well thought of and answer needs that max lacks (therefor the plugin..) good luck anyways
