rhys
Hi, The monitors I am using were recently changed. They have a max resolution of 1280x1024, less than I was previously using. As my UI is still the same, I cannot retrieve my material editor which is somewhere off screen. Is there a way to reposition the material editor to 'centre'? I would be grateful if someone out there could help! I am using Max 8 on a dual monitor setup. I should also add that I am working for a client onsite with no access to a higher spec monitor at this time. many thanks.. R

karl zacharias
Happened to me several times...I believe (pls don't hold me to it), if you delete your 3dmax.ini file it will reset your docking positions to default...once again I believe. Ray
Try this, it's from another thread somewhere on CGA: click on the material editor button alt+space m (for move) press any arrow key window will now be stuck to mouse cursor
