Pierre-Felix Breton
Hi all, In case you haven’t received the recent email request, we’re currently undertaking a customer survey to help us prioritize our product development. Since you all represent our most active users this would be a good opportunity for you to participate in the process. It should only take you a few minutes and it would provide valuable input to our design and development teams. And, as an added bonus if you do the survey, you can enter your name for a chance to win a copy of Combustion. The link to the survey is: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=76632156849 Thanks for you help. Cesar R
so I guess autodesk and discreet are thinking of mixing both software together? that is great !
Wojciech Klepacki
Really...? Sorry but, I don't agree with u. I don't need "benefits" from regular MAX version, Viz is enough for me. The product is woth the money I've spend. They told me about special oportunity to upgrade from Viz to MAX - 1800 Euro without VAT and taxes. In my personal opinion they don't care about the customers but the pocket (look at the discussion about LS death). Autodesk starts to play the Microsoft game... Someone told me that I don't fall with technology but it's not correct. I loved WinNT 4 and less W2K but I can't deal with XP. Same problem is with Autodesk: instead improves good things in LS they closed the project and send out Viz. Viz and MAX are close together but Viz is much cheaper. When u r a student u can deal with edu release but when u work commercial it's not easy to switch. The last but not least: this post is my PERSONAL opinion and u may not share my point of view. rgds, Wojciech Klepacki

Set performance priority over display, and you are left with the same old w2k look. No problems to uninstall the messenger. Go to "add remove programs" in control panel, click on windows installation, and just uncheck the messenger. And yes, acdsee works as default with no probs on XP. Go to the Advanced tab. There in the Performance section, click Settings and select the "adjust for best performance" option. Good luck.
