Gil Bolio
Hello there, I made a search on the forums about this and found nothing. My question is: How can I make an object invisible but still cast its shadows? Thanks!
Dave Buchhofer
its been a long while since i've done that, but i think you can simply do an IOR of 1, and a refraction of 255, with affect shadows unchecked. there may be a way to rig it up with matte/shadow objects, but I can't remember offhand, and can't experiment from home
classix
just uncheck "visible to camera" in object properties www.einherzfuerpixel.de
Gil Bolio
Thank You Classix I was checking the vray properties only, not the object properties! Thank You both
