fennak
hi all, hope you can clarify something for me regarding hyperthreading: i'm rendering on an Intel Duo Core. In Max, multithreading is turned on. When i render (vray), two buckets work on the image at once. In the scene statistics, it shows that I use 890Mb P memory and 902 V memory. Each CPU has 2GB of RAM, 2.19 GHz. In Task manager, 3dsmax uses 99% of CPU... my question: does this mean that i am not hyperthreading? Shouldn't I see 4 buckets? If so, how do i turn hypterthreading on? (I looked in BIOS, didn't see any obvious setting to change). Any advice would be much appreciated! Francisco Penaloza
Intel duo core does not support hyperthreading.
