Hi folks. Does anyone know if there's a tutorial or video that explains step-by-step the complete creation of a model from AUTOCAD drawing? What I mean is, importing the AUTOCAD drawings onto MAX. Use the drawings to build the complete model? Thanks guys.

Hi guys. I little more detail fo my question. How to model the rendering below (first picture) from the AUTOCAD linework (second picture)? How the line work is used? Do you snap vertices? Sorry, I think this must be basic for lots of you guys but I been offered a test for a achitectural company and they want to do this (it's a more simple model though). Both of the pictures are taken from the VISUALIZATION INSIDER ARTICLE - PREPARING AUTOCAD LINEWORK. Thanks.

Looks like PrestigEE gave you some good links and they are free, so you should probably go with those. However, I was going to say even if they are a little older 3DQuaker has some OK commercial video tutorials on architectural modeling and the first one anyway covered using AutoCad DWG files I believe.

Ye, 3dquaker's tutorials are pretty good too ;)
