animation convention

Im sure I heard an advert on the radio yesterday for some kind of animation convention/conference/festival thing in Chicago this weekend but I cant find any info on the web. Did I just miss-hear it? Any ideas?

I've had many instances where this has happened to me and out of habit of having a DVR on the TV, I reach toward the radio to rewind it.

Possibly the Motion Graphics Festival? I wasn't able to make it this year. But to be honest, the events I have attended in the past haven't really lived up to my expectations. It would be great if they were able to build more momentum.

I cant believe how little publicity this thing got. I would have loved to be involved. I even searched for the specific event online and couldnt find it! What a shame.

I think that's part of the reason the events I've been to have been poorly attended. Their events tend to sneak up on you. They do show some interesting work though.
