blawar
yes, distributed rendering occurs when u either use strip rendering, or render an animination.
CarlAhearne
Is this live now, or do we have to wait? I may be able to send a decent sized render to test your system by the end of the week...

I may be able to send a decent sized render to test your system by the end of the week... its live now, upload and render :] functionaly wise, it renders, we just need to finish the web design and iron out any bugs in the system. As well as add more render nodes. We have 20 2.4 quad core xeons in our cluster.
Craig Ramsay
Do you support Max 2008 64bit and V-ray 1.5 64bit? If so I have a nice animation job that will be ready tomorrow to test on your farm
blawar
For testing purposes, we loaded the boxes with 32 bit operating systems. They will all be converted to 64bit when out out of the development stage, but I dont expect that to happen for another month or so.

kippu
my estimated total time for render came to 2000 minutes ..it never mentioned how long it will take on your farm ... any idea?
STRAT
so you're max only?
RenderSpeed
We also render maya, and C4D. One job gets a maximum of twenty 2.4ghz quad-core xeons. 2000 minutes divided by 20 is 1.6 hours approx. I would like to point out that this thread is old, and we are no longer rendering for free.
