Dan J
morfeo, To begin with- you've found this site and that's a good start. If you take a look around the site read the postings on the forums, read the tutorials, participate in the discussions and post some of your work for comments and feed back, you should find some insight on how to improve your renderings. As for books, you would need to look on Amazon, Ebay and a few others to find some decent books. Don't limit yourself to books on Viz, also look at books for 3D Studio Max. For the most current up to date info and happenings the internet and this site are you best resources. Good luck. Dan
Jason Matthews
I agree with Dan. This site as well as others (3dhelp, cgtalk, 3dcafe, etc.) are very helpful in not only solving problems, but learning form each other. Personally I have noticed a difference in my work just in a few months due to these websites. Unfortunately, it is easier to find books for begginers because it is difficult for an author to know how experenced a person is in a particular program. You will most likely find more helpful tutorials on Max than Viz because it seems to me that more people are using Max. Just an observation. I guess the thing to remember is not to get discouraged. I alway find inspiration from the galleries, WIP, and finished work. Good luck.
