Jeff Mottle
I hesitate to even mention their name, but I was wondering if anyone else was spammed today by the Diamond Computer Graphics Company in China. They spammed every address I have 8 with a 22 MB email. Needless to say I wrote all of their offices with a pretty scathing reply and blocked them from my mail server, but I was curiuos who else fell victim to this bonehead move. Great way to pick up new clients, piss them off.
AJLynn
I would think most of the recipients' mail servers would bounce the spam for being over 5mb...
Jeff Mottle
I just reduced mine. Looks like the default value was 30MB.
EddieLeon
I get spammed by Diamond all the time. I have sent them a few scathing emails to no avail. They don't listen and don't care. They just keep doing it. It's completely ridiculous and I hope someone can get them to stop

Horhe
If they produce decent images at really low prices clients wont care if they spam everyone around the globe with 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 emails... ...just spam them back
Horhe
Ps. spamming should be introduced as a crime all over the world... ...up to 3 years jail time for that... nice...
Ernest Burden III
I get spammed by Diamond all the time. So do I, though not such a huge email. I am able to receive 10MB emails, never tried 20. I don't mind the contact so much as the attached images. If you must send me a pitch for work, just include a link and I'll look if I am interested. One guy called me last summer looking for sub work. He had the decency to actually ask if it was OK for him to send me samples. He did, and I needed some help that week and hired him. There's a right way and a wrong way to do just about anything.

Brian Cassil
I didn't get spammed by the company mentioned here today (our e-mail server blocks anything over 5 megs). I actually had to chuckle at the title a little though, becuase I get spammed by a CG company in china almost every day. Maybe someone should start a thread "who didn't get spammed by a CG comapany in china today".
moshenko
Maybe someone should start a thread "who didn't get spammed by a CG comapany in china today". LOL! My thoughts exactly! As with others I wasn't spammed by them today but have been in the past - and probably will continue to be in the future.

EddieLeon
Folks. I think we should be careful how we criticize. The problem here is only mindless spamming and not the "Chinese business way". Many Chinese companies offer their services in a courteous way and that is perfectly acceptable. I think the only real issue here is the way Diamond Computer Graphics does it repeatedly even after you tell them to stop. I also get the same emails from companies in Russia, Brazil, Argentina, India, etc... I think we should just accept it as part of business and ignore them if you don't need there help. My 2 cents
