unmasked7fear
I Got the demo and tried to install it, and I installed the runtime, updates, xp fix, etc. I am using Windows XP Professional. When I try to open Maxwell Studio I get this.. I can use Maxwell Render though. The plug ins for rendering in Maxwell Render from C4D work. The only problem about those is I see people talking about Maxwell Material tags in the tag drop down in tutorials and such, but this is what mine looks like. I've looked everywhere and nothing answered my questions. If there is an answer out there for my questions, I apologize I overlooked them. If you can help me with one or both of my problems, I greatly appreciate it.

Horhe
Its likely a Windows issue... I had similar problems when running vue demo... (apart from the fact that its extremely unstable) Maybe you have some software installed that is creating a conflict... or maybe its Windows that is the evil seed Do you have access to a different computer? Try it there itll work fine i bet. Ultimately you can try reinstalling windows.
brutuscgarchitect
Same here. Demo for 1.5 works fine, but can't get studio starting for version 1.6. Same error as you have. Did you find any solution to your problem? I reinstalled a backup of my system and it still doesn't work. So i guess reinstalling windows is not the answer. Maybe its the system. I'm using: Abit NF7-s V2 Amd Barton 2500+ geforce ti4200. (tried softmod to quadro but doesn't help studio starting so i guess its not videocard related also) xp sp2 Grtz, Br
