JPS
Hi. I have created 2 files one rendered in accurender and one rendered in Viz I am enclosing both final images. I need to make the Viz rendering look more like the AR3 rendering or even better if possible. 1- How can I make the light source look like its giving off light? (not black holes) 2- What settings can I change to make the lights in Viz create those shadows in the corners the AR3 creates. Thanks.

Jeff Mottle
I'd use a self-illuminatiing material. You may also have to use the Radiosity override material if you want the actual self illumination of the lights to light the room.
quizzy
answer to your question: read the help file of VIZ, and search for radiosity override material, that should do it.

Cesar R
and make sure you use regathering so capture those sadows details. I just finished a test render and found this to work in accenting shadows in interiors. under the overide material increase the value of "Luminance scale" to whatever give you a the desired look. I hope this helps.
