Was umming about a MPB but for the price...

Previous thread asked if a MPB was the way forward as a windows laptop to run 3DS + vray.

 

I've decided not to and am considering a dell vostro with the following config. It's obviously not as pretty and much heavier but its also less than 1/2 the price.

- Vista 32 pro

- WUXGA 17 pouces UltraSharp™ (1900 x 1200) TFT avec TrueLife™

- SDRAM DDR2 667 MHz de 3072 Mo (1 x 1024 + 1 x 2048 Mo)

- 320 GB (5400rpm) SATA Dual Hard Drive (2x 160GB)

- nVidia® GeForce®8600M GT 256 Mo
