Ricardo Eloy
Well, to be honest there's no difference. You do the VR the same way you would do without VRay...
Dave Oliver
do you happen to know where the panorama exporter tool is located? ;p
RodT
toolbar, rendering, panorama exporter....... the larger image setting the better
nelpiper
According to specifications, if you want a panorama of 640x480, you have to render 8x this settings. For example, to have 640x480, you'll have to render 5120x3840. It's hard work. It's good fun though. Good luck.
BrianKitts
you could use the panoramic exporter, or you can change your camera type in vray to spherical and render out the image to be converted in a qtvr prog. I like using panocube/with panotools since it is a free plugin. check out this thread I outlined the process. (I only do it two or three times a year and I always forget how I do it, so I documented it) http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/23369-freeware-qtvr-setup.html
Chad Warner
Using the Vray spherical camera to create the initial image like Brian Mentioned works very well even with the QTVR exporter within Max.
sandiarch
I am very thankful to u all for a great response to my query. I shall definitely try vray with spherical camera.
Logitek
Hello guys, I'm trying to create a sperical image with a VrayPhysical camera, but it seems the Spherical and FOV overide (in the Rendering Tab) do not affect the rendering. Is there something special to do with a VrayPhysical camera in order to create a "360° spherical" rendering, or is it just impossible. If it doesn't work, it kind of sucks because I have to do my lighting setup twice... thanks!
maumau
i would like to know if someone knows if this approach would be succesful if i want to inspect an object, instead of a space. say i want to orbit around a box, instead of orbiting inside it. has anyone tried this? i'd like to achieve something like this: http://www.apple.com/iphone/gallery/360/ thanx in advance!
