allanx
Hi Everyone, I have finally got to update my website and placed some new images from my work, they are a mix of Sketchup renderings and Photoreal Gallery.... Please do check it out and tell me what you think..... website: http://aoc4.blogspot.com/ Thanks, allanx
Horhe
Nice - what lighting solution did you use for those photoreal images? The sofas in the 3rd image (photoreal gallery) would not last long if they had such construciton - the long legs would get bent quite quickly and it would be very uncomfortable to use... Probably very unstable too...
allanx
Thanks Horhe, I am using Maxwell Render for those images..... About the Sofas, I'm concern about that too, but there are actually furnitures with that legs...maybe made of solid metal rods or something... Thanks, allanx

Thanks, allanx You mean those are really produced in real life? Wow they look real odd... I wouldnt want to have them in my living room Yep they probably would be made from a firm stong material but still the lenght to the diameter is not right... it surely would get bent with time. allanx
Yeah your right, its weight and the weight of the person using it over time will surely bent it.... Thanks for the tip.. allanx
shaneis
...its weight and the weight of the person using it over time will surely bent it... Assuming it's made from untreated mild steel with a low O.D., low wall thickness and regularly lean back on the chair's back legs sure, it'll bend. Make it out of a steel alloy like chrome-moly or use bright carbon or high tensile or stainless, increase the wall thickness and ensure a good quality weld...temper it or stress relieve it if you like, then PRESTO! You've got one strong and slim bit of tubing.
