How to add grass in photoshop?

Recommended Posts

Adding in Photoshop requires:

 

1) Masking

2) Textures/libraries from appriopriate angles and perspective (although you can make those or change them in ps so thats not entirely true)

3) Good eye for - saturation, contrast and brightness - to fit it in all nicely and seamlesly.

 

All you need is some practise IMO. I learned on a trial by error basis.

One other thing to add to this: A shadow pass so you can effectively add shadows that are casting onto your grass in PS.
