Horhe
You can get Total Commander to browse your hard drive - the shortcut there is F7. http://www.ghisler.com/ http://www.ghisler.com/picture.htm - and this is a preview - the shortcut is at the bottom there - F7 new folder As far as Windows browsing goes - if you want to create a folder entirely by keyboard you can: Press the key between the right 'windows' key and the right 'ctrl' key. Then use the arrows to select -> new -> folder.
BrianKitts
To do it with only windows and no external prog..... right click on the folder and make a shortcut to it. Then drag the shortcut to your desktop, right click on the shortcut and select properties. In there you can assign a shortcut key to it. Only drawback is that if you want the shortcut key to be always available you have to leave the shortcut icon on your desktop. I don't think it works if the shortcut icon is buried in a sub-folder. I've never figured out how to assign hotkeys to the actual folder itself, but assigning a key to a shortcut icon of the folder is simple. Otherwise you'd have to use a third party ap.
