jorisAR
Hi guys, on this render the hedge in the back is set with a diffuse and opacity map on a plane. When I render you can see a thin line above the hedge, this is the edge of the plane. Am I doing something wrong...or do I have to enlarge the plane, so that the edge isn't visible within the camera viewport...?
Horhe
Does your plane have a thickness? Or is it straight max one sided plane? If it does have thickness then make it one sided only. Try making the secondary ray bias to 0.001 in the rendering tab. Check if the alpha and diff maps are the same height. Maybe youve got 1 or 2 pixels on higher than the other. scarp8
Paint a line at the bottom of your opacity map. A couple pixels should do it. Then rerender, it should work. Many times your textures are slightly blurred by your 3d program. A couple pixels (or more) on your opacity map edges will get rid of the "line" problem. jorisAR
Thanks for the replies...the clue about blurring was the one that finally helped. It was to 1. I turend into 0.1 and that helped greetz
