Keyboard Shortcuts - preferences

Hi,

 

i have this new annoying problem.

i have sketchup at work and now at home.

i have created all my lovley shortcuts at work.

 

i export my prefs to a .dat file, yet they just wont import into my other sketchup. they are both the same version too.

 

anyone have any ideas at all?

 

it's well anoying typing them in again. sometimes they seemed to re-set them selves too. could this be to do with being on the internet?

and also. since google raped the old forum and made it some kind of messge board. they've made it really hard to find info out.

I think that what it's doing is that it won't override keys that are already assigned when you import the prefs. I get annoyed by it too because I always change the keys - when I started using Sketchup most of the things I wanted didn't have keys so I invented my own mapping that's a hybrid of Adobe and Autocad commands and makes me a lot faster, and now I can't use the default ones at all.
