Exporting to IGES

I work in 3DS Max 9 and I am trying to export a file to IGES format so an engineer can review it. All objects are collapsed editable polygon (no modifiers).

But when I try to export I only get an error in the .xlo file. It says there is no "entity". I don't know what that means or why it cannot find anything to export. I also tried a test with a brand new file. I made a single box and tried exporting that. It gave the same error. So I need some help here.

Does anyone know what the problem might be, or have any recommendations for me? I've pasted the .xlo file below so you can see exactly what it says:
