MohammedEmad
Hey everyone:), new to the forums here and I already got a question:D!! I'm an Engineering student and going for architecture next year, and I wanted to train myself in "Architecture Visualization". I'm no veteran for Max and I've been playing with it for around 3 years now, but still never attempted architecture modeling:p! So I just wanted to know, What is the best way to model buildings in Max so I can start training and If there are any good tutorials around.. Thanks in advance:)
Ricardo Eloy
Welcome! If you already know Max, then you are probably familiar with all the techniques we use. Box modeling, spline modeling... nothing special, really.
MohammedEmad
I know and tried all of these:p!! spline is easier to make windows and doors in , but lacks adding of detail, and box modeling sucks when using boolean...do you have any tutorials to show me a bit cuz maybe Im not getting a firm grip on Max still:confused:..thanks in advance. Ricardo Eloy
Try one of Brian's tutorials. They're available here on CGA.
nilariver@gmail.com
Dear Emad, If you are familiar with all tools in any type of modelling like example spline modelling attach, offset, weld you can do not only windows but wall and all majors parts. First you try to understand how these all tool works then according to your target you club it. Poly modelling also one of the efficient way of modelling other than spline, box modelling. ajith kumar

RodT
Emad, http://www.cgarchitect.com/upclose/VI/ you may have overlooked these. Rick mentioned them and I really don't think that there are many out there that are better. If you find some how about fleshing out this thread with your finds?
