Book Covers

I've been searching for a while and can't seem to find any cook/recipe book covers for a kitchen I'm doing.

 

I don't need many, maybe about 10 or so, but I need the front,back & spines. Fairly high res would be nice, but not essential.

 

anyone have any to send or a link to some online resources? I have been looking myself but with no joy

Try Google Images. I found a few reasonably large book maps there (not cook books, though...)

You could scan some cookbook covers of your own.

@ Matt, I need back covers and spines as well. amazon was the first place I looked.

@ Shane, definitely and option if I had a scanner :S lol, I do have a camera though so I think a few pics might have to do.

 

thanks anyways, guess I was after an easy way out, like a free downloadable pack of thousands of full book covers in high res lol, I don't ask for much do I?

Dunno if Penguin do cookbooks, but this might be worth a look - their press office says they do high-res images of book jackets.

A little underhanded, but go to a bookstore, and take a few snaps yourself. Cellphone camera's are perfect for this kinda 'undercover' work.

 

Perhaps do a search for a few food pics, and make your own jackets, spines?

This can be fun as you can add in little injokes in the books names. "100 Recipies with Fava Beans, by H.Lecter....or 'Have a few friends for dinner! By J.D.Armer. Gotta get your kicks somehow!
