Tropical Lanai at Night

This is a quite a bit different than most of the stuff I do so I thought I would post a near final preview and see what sort of suggestions you guys might have. The client has requested some of these things to be very specific so they might not be exactly what I would want. Those things are: The camera angle, the placement of the landscaping, the ladies inside, the open doors, the tiki torches, and probably a few other things.

I'm thinking I'm going to lighten the foreground a little and make the vines a little tighter around the upper structure. Other than that I'm not sure what else I would do.

nice try ;) . agree with the above, specially about the displacement

it looks to me that the outdoor ligthing is not helping and make most of the vegetation to look very fake, don't know, colours are flat.

inside ligthning, also, too much contrast.

like the hole idea pretty much tho. :)

edit...second look, please make the ivy again.

like it. how'bout some light spill from the main interior into the garden, especially on the vine structure. And a vignetting layer might bring more depth. cool

More light spilling. Or spilling further perhaps. Gotcha, I'll give that a try.

very nice, but the stone work is absolutely crying out for some displacement. it looks like flat wallpaper as it stands.

Actually, I am using displacement. It's working just how I want on the columns (which are mostly covered by vines so that's great) but for some reason it's not coming out that great on the walls. I'll work on that.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're getting at but thanks anyway.
