lambros
vray:Indirect illumination (GI) tab -> reduce Saturation (around 0.7 would be fine)
Koper
vray material overide do what Brian says in the post http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/27309-wood-floor-colour-too-strongly-relecting.html
Ricardo Eloy
vray:Indirect illumination (GI) tab -> reduce Saturation (around 0.7 would be fine) No way... this will affect the GI as a whole, not only the bleeding material. Actually, Chaos tells people not to mess with these settings in order to get a physically accurate result. PS: People, we do have a VRay section in the forum. Let's use it, alright? Crazy Homeless Guy
you could always dive into the world of LWF. acheiving correct color bleed is a large part of what it is about. ....but please don't ask for an explanation until you have thoroughly searched and read the threads in the forum on the issue. TheMulf
I have a similar problem, but in this case I am not sure what factor causing it. I have a building with horizontal metallic paneling, that is relatively reflective. The base color is off white, but the rendered result is rendering yellowish/tan. I'm using a vray sun, HDRI image, grass/sidewalk/asphalt as part of the surrounding enviroment. What can I do to 1. Override the problem material to not absorb bounce color, but still retain luminosity and 2. Find out what is influencing the color change. I guess my best bet for now is to throw an VrayOverrideMtl on my grass/curbs/asphalt/sidewalks with a neutral GI material over ride.
