neko
i found this on another forum and thought it would be good fun to post it here. with all the design talent at CGarchitect, it should be interesting to see the results (hopefully not too offensive) 1 - Go to Wikipedia's random article page..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random The first article you get is the name of your band 2 - Go to the Random Quotations page.... http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3 The last four words of the last quote is the album title 3 - Go to Flickr's Interesting photo page..... http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/ Third picture, no matter what it is, is your album cover Put it all together to make your album. Either crop it to CD cover size, or just use the raw image itself... the only rule is you're only allowed to add the album title and artist title. neko
yup - it was rigged from the start. i wouldn't start a competition that i didn't think i could win. sounds a little like a dictatorship, but a benevolent one.....

Brian Cassil
didn't quite work to great effect with mine That could pass as a real album cover. Pearl Jam was the first thing that came to my mind. This is awesome, but unfortunately flicr gets blocked here at work (sigh) so I'll have to do this at home tonight. Sawyer
Football in Jamaica released their first album, Memory Feeds Imagination, to critical acclaim in 1982. Hailed as fusion between Joe Strummers vocal intensity and Rodger Waters vision, F.I.J. soon amassed legions of loyal fans soon called "footballers". The bands popularity was only increased by rumors that Mahoney the lead singer was drunk so often he never could be sober enough for live shows. It took over 18 months to record Imagination one of the more popular rumors about the the 3rd track, "Work Standing Up" is that the percussion heard on the track is actually Mahoney vomiting into a bucket kept at his side at all times. According to the rumor, Phil Spector sampled the sound and remixed it for the percussion. Since Mahoney has never been seen by the public many people speculated that he was actually Strummers alter ego. A rumor that has never been substantiated. Brian Cassil
http://img522.imageshack. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is now wondering if this is how real bands do their album covers. I remember R.E.M. always had such random graphics and album names.
