MohammedEmad Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 I want to start using mental ray as my renderer for interior and exterior designs,But the textures in mental ray are confusing and when i tried to use it i don't get any good results:confused:. There is alot of information there, and dont get too tied up in the actual numbers being used. Its the explinations behind the numbers that are the most important. robkar97 Posted March 1, 2008 Share Posted March 1, 2008 If your textures appear washed out and too light, check your gamma settings (Customize > Preferences > Gamma and lut) or specify a gamma for each bitmap when you import them.
