My friends and I just tried to buy tickets for Robert Plant & Allison Krauss this past week (their album is awesome) ... no dice, almost all the seats sold out in presale and all they had left were single seats. Nuts! Anyhow, sounds like Mr. Plant is doing alright. I'd rather see old musicians doing new stuff than the other way around, don't really care how good they were.

I am so disappointed about them cancelling the tour... I saw Page & Plant years ago in Montreal when they did their no quarter tour I thkin it was in 94. I slept outside for 3 days to get a few tickets! But I turned out to be THE best show I have ever seen. Too bad John Paul Jones & John Bonham were missing (of course for Bonham since he's dead).

It's nice to see a star stick to his principles, they said it was going to be a one off and it was. He doesn't need the money and if you ever met him he's a really down to earth guy. I've seen him a few times at a Wolverhampton Wanderers football match and he sits in the crowd along with everyone else and says hello to you. I've also seen him at a few small concerts in the area and he'll chat to anyone. When you consider the guy is a total rock legend worth god knows how many millions it's nice to know he won't sell out for a quick buck or quid depending on where you come from.

Only as far as what he thinks the score maybe or what he thinks of the band, i think the last thing he'd want would be someone babbling on how brilliant he is etc. But he definatley has some prescence when you see him just standing there in a crowd.
