That looks like thousands of polys when the particular tree is really just a displaced surface. It's a fancy cone.

 

:D exactly! This is why I said at the very beginning that the best way would probably be to use VrayDisplacement instead of ONYX for this particular tree.

Let the people model a box with 1M polys if they want :D
