Billabong
It seems whenever I pan or zoom around an object it does both so widely I have to hit z just to get back to my object, this is even when I have a single vert selected. I've tried zoom extents and it still doesn't help. This is getting pretty annoying
Stephen Thomas
If you hold your mouse button down on the rotate button you actually get different options, one of which should be to rotate around selected object.
Billabong
yeah that much I do know, but that has nothing to do with it, because it happens when I pan aswell
FORM3D
Check in customize , preferences . viewport window. check that neither of the boxes are checked. and in the bottom right hand side of the screen you want to have the yellow move rotate option selected. BrianKitts
I've found that if you don't have max opened on your primary monitor it can do some really funky stuff when you are panning with the middle mouse button. If you have multiple monitors, check and see that your main window is on the primary monitor, and then toss your toolbars and panels on the secondary.
