Tommy L
I have a whole bunch of animation frames with these random white pixels. Im assuming is something to do with highlights going a bit weird, maybe AA settings? Material sub-divs? Im sure its a common problem and Im hoping someone comes forward with a quick fix. Can it be repaired in post (without clone-stamping every frame...) and how do I prevent it happening in Vray? Thanks in advance Tom.

landrvr1
Those are looking unbelievable, Tommy. Very cool. The pillows and bedspread are really something. Were those models that you purchased or made yourself? Checked our your companies website as well. That's an impressive bit of Flash coding there. Holy crap. Uber serious actionScripting going on! YOHKOH
I have had this problem before and have found it occurs when a piece of geometry is too close to a light source of Vray light material. Might be it's the light fitting you have there. Try hiding the vraylight material. Also Vray sometimes doesn't like it when you mix IES and standard lighting. landrvr1
Man, you should. Great stuff. Did you model all the dimpling on the pillow and bedspread, or is that a material technique?
Tommy L
Thats displacement.
landrvr1
Thats displacement. I figured. Gorgeous. You've got some nice light variation on your painted gyp bd; are you putting any slight reflection on your paint materials? That's something that I'm experimenting with now - giving matte and flat paint finishes a very diffused reflection. Like displacement, however, it starts to get expensive. RyanSpaulding
Nice images. One thing tho...shouldn't the curtains hang a little higher? That little bit of light where the rings are would piss me off in the morning
