TomA
Hi, I'm sending a 3dmax2008 model to be rendered as an animation to a render farm in a different city, but they keep getting these messages: "Task Error: Object (UVW 1): Line185 requires texture coordinates and may not render correctly; Task Error: Object (UVW 1): Line186 requires texture coordinates and may not render correctly; Task Error: Object (UVW 1): Line192 requires texture coordinates and may not render correctly". On my own machine or on one of their machines it can be ignored and it renders, but when it is sent to the render farm it does not allow it to render with errors. Any suggestions on: a: how to solve the mapping problems. or b: how set the render farm going with the errors still present. They use Max2008 incidentally. ??? Cheers P
Tommy L
Unless the Lines that are being rendered are purposely left without a UVW map, why not just apply a UVW map and re-send the file? Chances are the Lines are not even geometry, so are not being rendered, so you could just turn them off.
