jamesB
I would like to change the default mr blue sky color to a white or any other color. How do I do that without having to actually replace the mr physical sky map with a colored bitmap?
SandmanNinja
Do it in Photoshop? 1) Trace the section of render you want to change (or Magic Wand) 2) save your marquee (Selection -> Save Selection and then give it a name) 3) click on Layer then add a new layer - give it a name (I use colour names) 4) switch to that new layer 5) pick the colour you want to use 6) flood the marqueed area 7) to keep the shadows, etc, go to Layers -> and change NORMAL to MULTIPLY (Thanks to Bri from MentalBoutMax)
SgWRX
drag mr physical sky into a material slot and instance it there. then uncheck the inherit from mr sky. then drop the saturation to 0 and crank up the multiplier. i just tried it, gave me a white sky without affecting the color of the light in the scene. as a side note, i just figured out that mr physical sky is a completely separate thing from the mr sun and mr sky. i can now get rid of all the blue shadows without affecting the color of the mr physical sky "background". i always thought my sky parameters and mr physical sky were the same adjustments. my sky and mr sun are the actual light/color whereas mr physical sky is just a map of the background.
