Office WIP - first exterior CGI - comments and advice please

Evening all, this is my first exterior CGI based on actual CAD drawings for a client, deadline's on Friday. They asked for a day/night view from this viewpoint.

I need to add stuff to the inside of the building, find some decent background/sky images and work on the road area to the front, but I think it's getting there.

Any advice from any old pro's out there? Anything that a client would normally expect that you think's missing from these? I think it's turning out OK but having another pair of eyes look at your work critically is always a good idea, so any feedback would be much appreciated!

Cheers everyone!

This is a really good start, and even better for a first image.

Things to consider:

1. straigten the verticals with the camera correction modifier

2. add som people to the scene - especially the day time

3. skys are a touch dramatic and detract from the building

4. you still need some subtle reflections on the night shot glass

Keep posting your updates.

Good start..

It just looks like you have gone dusk / night instead of day / night..

And the external image has the sun coming from behind the building according to the sky, but from the left front according to the very subtle shadows that there are.

I would get the day shot looking like a day shot.. And agree with Trevor, those skies dont help. Especially the night one.. Looks like a supernova in the background..:D

Have you lit the inside at all on the external one..? I can sort of see lights in there. If someone asks for an external, I must say, I tend to keep internal bits to an absolute minimum.. just enough to kid em..;)
