louis.cho
hi, In some scene, Vray crash just after the Building Static Raycast Accelerator phase. Before post here, I though that it was a memory issue and I render it again with the Vray FB in VRIMG file but it's didn't solve the situation. Also, I have a Xeon 2.66 with 4Gb ram with XP 64bits so it's not an artefac from a museum! It' don't do that in all my scene but i never manage to find any constant. I work often work with Light cache but I think It had already chashed with others too. any ideas?
kippu
maybe theres a bad mesh over there thats causing it .... or some bad material...try hiding some meshes and keep trying i guess
tanni
lease check your file size if it 100 MB or more then we face those problems in that case you have to Increase RAM.
Thablanch
Hi.. Usually crashing right after static accel. is memory related - What is your rendering output?? (Think Vray max is somethin like 30000px) - Is there displacement.. if yes, turn it off an see if it goes - Try the material override, if it has to do with your materials, you'll see. - Is there anything raythace in there ( mat. or light ) - Open new blank scene and merge everything, so if it is scene related, you'll get rid of it. (well, mabee)
