JamesTaylor
i'm trying to find a thread that i remember had a link to the british copyright foundation or council (something offical anyway). the main jist of the thread was members discussing problems they had had with getting payment for completed work, or companies going bust on them and then another developer using the images when the site was taken over etc. I know i posted in the thread, but i can't see it in my list of subscribed threads (i've never deleted any so have over 800!). I am wondering if a Mod may have removed it as i also seem to remember someone trying to turn it into a name and shame list of all companies that had ever defaulted on payment! If someone could point me in the direction of thread i'm thinking of or reads this and were the person who posted the link to the British Copyright can you please post it again, i think it was an online resolution / dispute system?. Preferably i'd like to find the thread as i seem to remember it containing much useful info. The reason i'm looking for it now is that i produced some work a while back and the client went bust on me before i got paid. I have since been to the site and my images are being used on sign boards, although the site hasn't been worked on for months by the look of it. So i rang the estate agent number which was also on the sign to see if they could send me details of the properties, knowing i'd be told the site was closed at present. However i was told that they were hopeful the site would be opening again soon and they'd send me details of the properties once it does. My thinking is that when the site reopens and my images are being used to someone advantage i can approach whoever it is for payment, as i still retain the copyright. I would like to get some advice or a better understanding regarding what the Copyright council could do for me on this issue Thanks Guys! i know should be able to find the copyright council on google but the thread would be great!!
