SandmanNinja
I'm sure Science (and Science Fiction) would not be where we are today without his life-long contributions.

Ernest Burden III
It was a combination of Clarke and Ray Bradbury that got me going on a life-long love of sci-fi, and ended up played a big part in helping me decide to go into art instead of science. I started reading their work when I was about 12 or so. Now I hand all those books to my son, who is now 13, and he loves them. I'm sure Clarke is proud that his work is now something that is passed down from parent to child. RIP, Mr. Clarke.
