apychewicz
Hello, Ive been a 3D Studio user for a long time but due to work was forced to switch to Bentley Architecture. Im currently exporting to Maxwell studio from Bentley to improve rendering quality. However, I am having an issue with materials being applied in Maxwell. They seem to come in at a much larger scale than intended and Im forced to scaled everything down which is very time consuming. I was wondering if anyone knew a solution to this problem. I have tried exporting from microstation numerous ways and also tried with no references attached but still the materials come in at a huge scale. Kurt
you can also ask questions related to microstation+maxwell over at the Maxwell forum: http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum there are some of us that are using this software combination... siryessir
when you open up a material in the material browser - each material is composed of layers - if that layer has an image, you can click on it to edit it - it pops up in a larger window (on the left side of the material browser for me). directly below the image is a little "m". Click it to turn it on - it makes the image work at the scale of the model. repeat for all the images in the various layers. I forget what its called, true scale or something like that. siryessir
1.7 "real scale" rhino plugin I'd put up a screen cap, but don't know where to host it?
Kurt
you can host images at picoodle.com - free and easy No problem - "real scale" is ok! but that little "m" got me confused, - but it is probably because I use Studio, and it looks slightly different.
