The architectural firm i work with want to make a whole new web site, including new prjects, writings, press articles, plans, etc... The three person making the vizualisation (including me) were asked to do this... I was wondering if you knew a/afew particulary architecture firms well made web site(s), in its form as well as in its contents... CRD
I apologize for going off on a tangent discussion, but I'm hoping someone can help me with a question. When I was looking through the website of Foster and Partners, they show a movie of a screenshot of a 3d modeling program being used to make a complicated shape. Does anybody know what program they use? The specific movie is on the City Hall project in Southwark. It's the movie on the top left, on the movies page, showing the creating and manipulation of the sphere shape. Any guesses? Thanks

alkis
hello all regarding the question about fosters site its definetely microstation and its actually an old version i think v.J however some of the tools on the first video are custom made tools that the guys used to manipulate the model. i worked there for a bit but not on that particular project. as far as i know the 3d model was even used for porduciton drawings etc. the microstaion pipeline is very solid over there. regards alkis
